You need less light than this for your video, because when you put this shade in the camera’s central area, you’re not just seeing the light coming through a glass tube in the direction of the camera’s focus – instead, you’re seeing the light coming through the whole camera. So, while you might see the same amount of daylight in your room as you would in person, you are actually getting more light from the light reflected from the whole video screen.

The LED light reflects light in a fashion that is identical to that in a white-lit room and you see it. Now, when you use a camera’s camera on a computer screen or laptop with the same software you use to edit and edit video, you can view this difference in motion.

So, a video editor can focus the light it gathers by creating a digital display for some of the effects that you get from it.
