A little bit of a problem. That’s what we’re trying to improve.

You’ve said you’re working on the feature’s future as a new app, so it’s obvious how that was discussed when we reported last month. How exactly does the new feature work

We’re doing more work to make sure it works as we promised. For instance, if you listen to a clip from a Spotify playlist and type it in the app, it will play a new song for you. That will be supported by the new music playback feature just tap Play button to make a new play and then tap the song’s name. In fact, as of right now this feature isn’t officially on the app, so it isn’t ready.

For us, it’s not just about Spotify playing new songs to your phone. We’re also working on making the experience a little bit clearer on any app you have installed for Spotify.

Do you intend to push any new features out in the coming months, or are you already experimenting with new apps

We’re trying every avenue. It may take a bit longer than you’ve seen or hear. We’re still working out what works for each category, but at the moment we’re only really doing a very minimal number of updates, so it’s hard to tell. We want to keep it relevant everywhere and make it fun to share with friends. The future is really open, so we want to keep things coming in a way that’s more fun for everyone involved.

What is your favorite way to listen to podcasts when using Spotify

I can’t wait to listen to those two. But let me say this, I listen to other podcasts just like our friends. I’m happy to see how they’ve moved on to other platforms. We’re working on those features too, so to go live with them I just can’t wait.

Do you see yourself opening up that Spotify library again soon, especially at the moment

We look at using our library extensively. I have a lot of friends and some colleagues who really like podcasts or are listeners of podcasts, so I expect we will add that to the list. The first step is to add more content around podcasting, and that means bringing more podcasts to the platform. We are still working on those things, but we will definitely look into them in the coming months.

What’s your biggest challenge If you knew of an idea for a feature that’s just not coming
