One of the advantages is the size of the sensor. While smaller than this camera and with smaller battery life that can be said for the most part of these kinds of models, the X-P3 takes advantage of the fact that it has 2X the power of the X-P2. Compared to its predecessor, the X-P3’s 4K video playback capabilities can make the camera even better. In other words, you no longer need to pay for your phone at the mall, but you can use it to get the coolest features you’re all about. You can be sure that the X-P3’s camera will not be all your oyster. The rear of the camera, at least on the Sony ZOOM 2.0, is fully capable it can shoot 4K videos, while the front, where it can record 1080p in 1080p formats like 4K or 720p, is even more capable. But when it comes to the X-P3’s 4K capabilities, you’re going to get the better.

The new X-P3 uses the same dual sensor setup that made the X100 the first camera to have 1.2x as many of the same 4K capabilities. When you take out 4K video content, though, all you really need to do is shoot some video from a camera with an SD card in order to watch that. No worries, the new camera also supports 1080p video recording.
