Hello everyone,

I have done a lot of editing in Python 3 while working on the game A Way to Go and with it I’ve had to write some custom settings to allow my players to play with their characters.

The first thing I’ve been doing is creating custom settings to get the most out of the player’s gameplay, and my script is pretty self-explanatory, so I’ll be using them for now.

This is where things get complicated as you can’t change the settings until the game has changed.

First things first - the AI. I’m using a bit of a buddy type named Argonaut. We can get his character to use a little bit more control over attack, the attack range for attacking with a shield and the range of ranged attacks.

A buddy type is just a name for some sort of NPC AI that you can make yourself a buddy, or they can be a character. In fact the AI for some of the NPCs that we found from games like The Witcher 2 and 3 uses the same AI for its AI’s, giving them different attacks, attacks using different movement speed (i.e. a shield attack with a shield attack) and even more attacks to make them follow you even more closely and the move is always the same and they also follow you around.

I’m using an AI named Kvothe (which is not very popular, he actually has a slightly different form than the AI we found in the game, so you should check him out to see for yourself. He actually has a little more stats as well, so if you want to try something with Kvothe as well)

There is also a very handy Player Stats setting (you can use it to toggle between the basic AI stats. Just click on it and change the one you like from A to B.
