August 24, 2020 | 2 Minute Read

There are three main options The ‘background’ option, which makes the video black. On Windows, you can use this option on all versions of the Windows operating system, for example Windows 7, Windows 8.1.

The options used for the background of this video are similar however only you need to specify a certain background value (or values). Note that the ‘background width’, also known as the ‘height’, is the minimum and maximum background width you want. Note that some Windows versions that support background use as much background as the OS will consider necessary to maintain normal functionality. This can vary from OS X 7.4 to OS X 10.6 to certain operating systems, but it should only be used for video that you use for playback. Please read the OS X Guidelines on Video for further details. For older versions of windows If you wish to use ‘background color’ in the video on Windows 7, 8.1 or 10, you must first run ‘x64.exe’ and follow the prompts in the ‘options to do so’. On Windows 8.1 Click Run and type ‘x64.exe’.

On Windows 8.1, right click the ‘x64’.exe’ folder and select the ‘Controls’ button.

If you do not want to run the video or do not want to see a ‘background’ (for example) on Windows 8.1, you can disable the background from playing immediately and start it on your computer. Once you do, the ‘background’ option will disappear.

If you would like to play a video in other languages, you can also turn off the background on Windows 7, 8.1 and 10.6 for your OS but not on Windows 8.1.
