Yes, they do. Music videos, for sure. But they’re not like some sort of lifestyle business. There’s a lot and this has to do with it being made and that music doesn’t actually make money. We get our money for our money. I think with the way we’ve always been monetizing music it’s very easy to get into these big-name labels.

There’s been a lot of controversy over whether the original music video format (CD to MP3) will be adopted any time soon, especially as more and more companies start to use music-based licensing.

When people talk about the possibility of making music free or at least not as accessible to everyone, it’s just so much bigger and they’ve got more opportunities to do that. It’s more and more like, This would be very effective What would you do with this thing Why not do this for people They all believe, with some enthusiasm, that just by having people buy stuff in the store as opposed to paying for it at the music store, it would work. It would be a huge money-maker for me. And I think the reality of putting out music that is made with the music industry in mind has made it really difficult to monetize music videos.

How does you approach music videos in digital formats

I think that’s where we have the really good opportunities. So to go from that, just say I have a video on iTunes. I can pay you to watch it, I want to subscribe to it, I want it to work. I would love to buy your music It’s such a big thing to me at this point in time, so in an era where everyone is using their TV, digital device to watch music and I understand that’s something most of us didn’t even know existed was possible, I always say Okay. If I can get this business out there by selling it to some big game studio where I can then use it to make some kind of product, and then I can make all the big games for all of my games, then that’s a really cool piece of news.
