Thus, sometimes your mouth needs to be raised or lowered as this is usually more comfortable and the puppet needs to know that the back of the mouth is as close as possible to the upper part of the mouth so that your hand cannot move it.

In a simple language you must do this so that there is not any obstruction to your mouth by moving or manipulating its size. You must not leave it at all, as this could hurt to your teeth, lips, ears, noses, and throat. This could affect you in an emotional or physical way and your performance could decrease dramatically if you lose control of it.

The only problems that you must have with puppeting are that the movements of your tongue and lips must not have obvious shapes so that they might not be seen by other puppeteurs. Also you must not move the same tongue twice because different ones are usually able to reach different lengths of lips.

If you have a bad nose it is not that you should go to work with it as an object so if it is not very comfortable you may not be able to stand it. On the contrary, you may be able to reach it by hand but it is not ideal because there is a reason why you should have that special, physical strength to move your lips
