Izvi’s Shaper is an arcane lich of power who came with the draenei at the Burning Legion’s Keep, with the intent of destroying the Alliance. A member of the Frostwolves of the north continent, Izvi wielded immense power as a master of the arcane spells given to him by the Burning Legion.

During a brief time when Azeroth was fighting a demonic invasion, Izvi’s Shaper was once more the target of the Draenei’s attack on his home. Izvi was slain by Kar’Kai as the demonic threat to Azeroth and the Lich King’s minions neared their world, when they fell into a trap and Izvi led his army of Burning Legion soldiers against the demons while remaining silent during the entire war, before being slain within seconds by Kar’Kai. At the end of the war, he was finally brought before the Council of Tirisfal, an organization called the Alliance. In the wake of Izvi’s death they began rebuilding the land, which the Alliance had always regarded as their holy land.

Izvi’s personal power was to destroy the Horde so as to bring them to balance, and he was instrumental in driving the Scourge from control of the land, and in crushing the Lich King and their forces from their new home. He also used to summon the Burning Legion soldiers during the war, before he and his followers were forced to retreat.

History

Izvi is the son of Zevir, mother to an elder Izvi, in his first mortal appearance. He and his halfling friend, a son, Zevir, soon began to develop a strong bond and after several more centuries together Izvi’s son Zevir eventually began to develop a power that would later be known as an ekklesis. Together, he and his brother would rise to power as part of the Scourge, eventually joining forces on the Alliance’s southern continent, with Zevir as their commander to continue fighting against the Alliance’s advance through the continent. With Izvi’s death, his sons become part of the Scourge, and as well as the former Frostwolf and member of his former team, the Scourge, became even more powerful in the aftermath of Izvi’s death.
