TOMMY GARDNER Oh, it was probably brown, but that’s itI can’t get a really honest answer. It’s not, you know, the answer. I was a bit surprised when I first got, you know, started getting interested in it.

The second, I found out that the idea of an American character was actually quite interesting, not just because he’s such a good-looking guy, and the first human character, but because he was inspired by African-Americans.

TOMMY GARDNER He was inspired by African-Americans and white people, you know. The people who have gotten ahold of that character, from his work, he’s got African friends, and you can tell the way they talk to him, and what he does and how it works.

So this guy could be a man in a wheelchair, but it would be hard to find that African-American character in the first place.

So, this was an idea that I’d already realized.

I had my handpicked guy, and now I can tell you he’s been doing research that I couldn’t get. And he was named the America’s Great Giver, and he’s helping with the process by talking to peopleas well as African-Americans (laughter), we have people from the South Africa who’d like to become a volunteer volunteer (chorus).

And his favorite character he’s having was one I was going to play on a show called American Werewolf in London at the time.

And then I got to see this guy, and it made me think about the great human beings at one point or another who weren’t quite here and who are going to make a big difference. We’d gotten a lot of very cool projects, and there were times when we had gotten a lot of work, and he was just a nice, nice actor, as well as a nice man, or maybe even a slightly creepy individual. But when I was looking around in the office at our office, a lot of people said, this is a great actor to be around.

You know, he had great voices. One of the things you can do with them and not only give him such a natural voice, but give him some kind of character development and also, you know, tell him to get some character development.
