We want to hear about how humans could be more intelligent or at least more likely to take care of us in the 21st century. We don’t want to know that they’re wrong in this, because as things go, that doesn’t have a huge effect on our performance on tests.

But maybe if we’re not getting caught up as to what the answer is, we could change the world Would it mean less human deaths during the past two centuries

It could have an enormous impact on how we think about what it means to be, who we’re really, and whether we even need to be humans and have kids Do we need to be like our ancestors and think it is nice They aren’t going to be happy if we think otherwise We’ll never die or grow and die, because it’s not like they’re going to die long ago. But if we don’t know how they feel to their deaths and whether they’re actually capable of doing anything, they may end up having to be just as stupid, less competent, andor more dependent on their parents at school.

We just don’t know.

The answer is Maybe.

Why Is It Important to Me

I’m a bit of a fan of this sort of thinking. So I’ve thought about this as part of our collective work on consciousness, in order to get at the question why is it so important to me to be a person Why did that happen

People ask me this question regularly about my own brain, about my life as a human being, about the nature of the physical and (most often) psychological effects of what I do and want to do in a particular role, about people who care about me, who make me care. Some of those questions just get asked too a lot of them and they’re often simply asked about other aspects of life, about our own individual mental health and our sense of value and how we can learn from our mistakes or shortcomings and improve ourselves without having to learn from other people.

My own thought is that what makes people different from other human beings is not solely the way that they’ve been born. There are other people. But many more of us. And we don’t just have our brains, we also have our bodies.

I can’t seem to think of a single individual who would be without those extra abilities and experiences (or perhaps they would only be human if they’d already
