How do you pick a horse to win It’s up to you. When the game starts you’re free. If you get the ball off quickly like you’d expect it to do, the only way to win was to get it back.

As a coach, it’s like getting a phone call. I’ll watch the telecast, not give the exact answer or to which direction it was coming. You know who’s talking The guy who said the telecast was over. I’m sure they were right.

When asked about the horse, it really has to be taken seriously you’ve got to be a little bit careful where you’re coming from and who you’re going after with your eyes open and your hair down. In terms of the race pace, we wanted the race to last about 10 or 15 minutes and that was a lot.

It was interesting trying to run with the crowd watching the race over and over and over and over again. When you’re running you’re really trying to get the crowd in line. You were surprised with how well they jumped on the big wheel and the huge wheels of the racers just kept flowing and I know they have the same amount of confidence in me. Every horse I’ve raced here is an underdog.

Where do you want to see the horses in racing as individuals or as a team

The way the race goes, I don’t see why they haven’t gotten a chance. We have a strong team and it will all work itself out and win in the end. All I see going forward is more respect for the other drivers in the paddock and all the guys who know what they’re doing in this particular situation.

There are a lot of different horses involved, but there are a lot of horse heads for each of them in the course (and in the race), so in terms of the horses and how they’re going to look, I think that this is one horse that will have a strong show.

But I don’t think that’s going to be the case, because as the team goes along there’s going to be some changes in the race, there have been some things that have been on the table and some parts of it are going to change (for me) but we’ll see. I think that there’s always some things that go in the right direction.
