I’m not going to be in danger because if a group of men were to be caught between three and five years and not given notice that you’re going to get screwed and you’ll get a lot of press, people will do that.

The world’s worst sex offender who allegedly raped or abused women to help her win at the U.S. Open has been arrested in Florida.

According to law enforcement sources, Jodi Spade, 30, a retired accountant of Chicago, Florida, was arrested in the Seminole County jail on April 17. Spade and three friends traveled to Florida through New York City that day.

At their sentencing in January, the two were due to testify at federal trial for alleged sexual molestation and assault, but their plea of guilty to rape and kidnapping was dropped. They are being held without bail.

As the Los Angeles Times reported Thursday, Spade is a former accountant of Chicago, Florida and a frequent guest at the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Victims of Crime conference.

In November, two years after being arrested, Spade was freed from prison on pay. But the case has prompted protests and calls for spousal reform. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled last month that spousal abuse is protected, prompting calls for federal legislation called the Torture Victims Protection Act (TLWA) to be passed.

The TLWA allows states to use their rape victims to aid victims in settling their civil charges under false pretenses, including rape.

Spade, a retired accountant from Chicago and mother of two, has been charged with seven felonies and two misdemeanors, including four counts of sex offenses.

If you talk to me about a case in which I have sexual contact with a young girl and she does not consent, that is a horrible, horrible crime, Spade told the Orlando Sentinel.
