I haven’t heard that. It is true. The producers are in the room, working on the story, and I am not involved in the show. I’m more of an independent producer-writer. (Laughs) The show’s been running for almost 15 years.

Is it a little tricky for you to find a script that’s going to stand on its own, especially if you can’t figure out how to adapt it

If it isn’t a script for The Walking Dead, then it’s a little more difficult. You’ve got to find the creative person who’s going to make it for this network with this show, and that’s what that team does well. That’s what their goal is. I’m trying to make a show that’s not just a survival game, but I hope that that means that people will still come to see some of the other storylines in this show, just not this crazy show that was so, so fun. If this show is not a survival game, then what’s that about

It’s funny how long it takes to adapt a show that’s written by very different people and shows that people know in advance, but I understand how that can be tricky. Sometimes people get too hung up on the original idea and feel frustrated at the things that they love, and that doesn’t feel good. Sometimes the show is just a story about the past and how it happened, and people love it, but they never feel like they can get what they want out of it without having to adapt it for a higher quality.

Vice President Al Gore has slammed U.S. politicians for failing to do enough to stop sexual abuse of children in their home states.

Gore said he believed the American public should demand mandatory mandatory reporting in all federal agencies for child predators and child pornography.

They all have issues in this country, including sexual abuse, Gore said Thursday on MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ on MSNBC. And there is a great irony that there’s a political imperative to call out politicians who haven’t done what is absolutely necessary.
