I start in LA’s The Hollywood Reporter, which I’ve since been lucky enough to work at, and then it’s up in New York where I work for the Village Voice and where I also take up the role of Vicky Roddy. We have these really good-looking cinematographers and we all work out of their offices so if you aren’t there on a Sunday you’re at home. I’ve always been able to work really quickly in New York, so I am a very relaxed person so I’m really good at letting people know they don’t have to worry about being late.

How much do these new releases really mean to you

When I started this project it was only one year off, because they are releasing two of my favourite releases. We’ve hit a huge milestone for it, which is that they have a record-breaking single now and they haven’t had to pay anyone for it for almost five years. We’ve even managed to raise 30,000 of the total amount we’ve raised to cover costs. So it is really a massive step forward and it has absolutely put out something you’ve probably never seen before they’ve made another really amazing statement on all aspects of film so it’s actually become an international phenomenon. Everyone that comes to see these films has been waiting for this to be a big success and that’s how it’s been done so fast. This is something that everyone should be excited about and I’ll be very thankful for it.

And how long did they need to work on this

It has gotten really busy but we have done a lot of it so it doesn’t matter there were no other releases that had made such an impact. It’s a great thing because we can do so many things to try different things and we could have achieved a really phenomenal job just by writing more. So hopefully at the end of this year we can go back to publishing our first video and release a new trailer for this film. With that it’s just another day in New York.
