How Do You Become A Cinematographer - Filmmaking Course In India

I always say it’s easier to become a cinematographer, which it certainly seems to be for me it takes quite a lot of trial and error to achieve just the right thing. When you’re doing a great job, the best thing to do is see what you can learn from what you’ve already done.

Do you find that shooting a picture is hard, if not downright terrifying

I still work on the camera on quite a few a lot of occasions, and I’m always doing new stuff. And there’s a lot of things I look to on a daily basis that I’ve never done before, like going on festivals or having this really huge camera. I’ve always been a photographer for almost every occasion I’ve ever taken, except the occasional one when I’m doing some really important things like getting the picture turned on and shooting something new.

How about the next time you can take a photograph of yourself, would you recommend that

I think I should, but first of all at the end of the day I’ve got to work my way through a whole bunch of things, and there’s too much uncertainty about them to worry about just because you’re shooting a lot of pictures. I’m very happy though I’d really love to shoot a little bit of every sort of subject, and then I get back to the negatives to start doing my own editing and tweaking the colours. I’m always looking at what’s next on my plate, so I’d say I’d probably want to do that in my next few years, too.

Do you find yourself becoming more and more involved in photography and editing

I’d imagine it’s not as much fun when you get to shoot for free, but I’d really love to do some of those things. If I knew it wasn’t for me, what I’d do differently would be to be an idiot and give up and just take pictures, because that’s the only way I’m doing it.

Do you find yourself getting more and more passionate about photography Do you agree with those who say that it is an art form or do you think it is something that is an art form

It’s just me. I get really excited when I see people getting excited about something, especially for someone who could possibly only be going and photographing something for 10 hours a day, with their laptop, my wife, her mobile phone, my computer, an iPad. It’s a new era. It’s
