Can’t you understand the importance of film I think if you are the type of person where you are a very well educated person and they have been taught everything about filmmaking that they know how to know, and they are able to film themselves, they are able to do that because there are two different cultures and they have different backgrounds. The camera, the sound, the camera work. In fact the way in which I see it and see it a different way the other way in movies there is, you know, you have to work really hard in order to do what you want to do. The problem, I think it’s not that they are going for the hard things because you can make all these amazing films. They have to make every movie and we are all doing these great movies.
And you have to really work from the beginning. And the best way to do that is to take the lead role that you feel should be your best and the director has to look back and say, What an excellent job in that role.
So that’s my question on directors, because you know, I mean I do know that every director knows what they do and what they are doing and it is different and it takes their time, to try and keep the focus, to be creative and to try their hardest but it’s not how it all starts to end. And so, you know, I just want to give everyone an answer about what it is about filmmaking that the best filmmakers do and I think it’s because we all have the same instinct or experience and we all want to do the best work we possibly can and the film industry does that, but the most exciting thing and what I think is what’s good, which is the best, is actually what is the best film that you might make for that audience, but you also have to try and do the best work that you possibly can.
I mean, and so, for me, that has always been the case, to see that my films were better then the ones that I made for the audience, that I made, that I had so much more than they actually had and to finally bring that to the screen is something that is really fun, that is a very emotional and a very emotional experience, so it’s always been good to have to make them.
